Chipchain Was Licensed 7nm Process Technology by TSMC

Chipchain and TSMC have announced the signing of a cooperation agreement for 7nm FinFET process technology, which covers the design of low-power, high-performance computing ASICs. The agreement further expands the cooperation of the 16nm and 12nm FinFET process technologies and extends the lastest process technology to the next generation of products.

TSMC expert stated: TSMC is constantly investing in advanced process technology and is committed to helping customers achieve technical success. With 7nm FinFET technology, TSMC’s process and ecosystem solutions have expanded from mobile phones to high-performance computing. Thanks to TSMC’s industry-leading 7nm FinFET process, when designing next-generation high-performance computing chips, compared with the 12nmFinFET process node, the customers can achieve better performance at the same power consumption, or achieve lower power consumption at the same performance.

The latest cooperation agreement is based on the R&D breakthroughs in the 16nm and 12nm FinFET processes. Chipchain will be committed to achieving technological innovation in TSMC’s 7nm process.
